History: Little is known about the burials in this cemetery. Their number has been estimated to range from 45 to 100.  Today, only 12 stones and 19 bases have been located. The cemetery has long been plagued by vandalism ranging from pushing stones over to shoving them down the adjacent hillside. 
 
Chapter Publications: Gravestone inscriptions have been published in our 1978 book "Summit County Cemetery Inscriptions Vol 1". The original volume is available in the Special Collections Dept. of the Akron-Summit County Public Library (Main Branch) as well as many other local libraries.
This Cemetery has also been updated and published in our Lest We Forget in 2007.
